This device is typically used as a position sensor in mechanical movement systems.

The position acquisition system is carried out through a frequency-modulated infrared light beam.
This technique makes the sensor immune to ambient light and to non metallich dust.
It has one outputs, one normally at a high level (S).
Great for use as a limit switch or home sensor or “pass from here” sensor.
It can be used with a 3.3V or a 5V power supply.
One LED on the PCB  indicate the operating status.

– LED light off means:  the sensor is far from the magnetic field and the output is high.

– LED light on means:  the sensor is near the magnetic field and the output is low.

The best performance is obtained using the Neodymim cylindrical magnet.

The power pins and signal reflect the standard thereminico  and is not needed to reallocated the Dupont connector.

The sensor is sent in an envelope that protects the device from electrostatic charges with 2 Neodymim magnet that have 3 mm of diameter and a lenght of 5 mm..

Note:  If you are using the Theremino Master to recognize the logical level, you can change the logic like:

– magnet far is recognized as low logc level
– magnet near is recognized as high logic level.
